Frontline is to receive funding from the Department of Education for the third year running.
Nicky Morgan, Secretary of State for Education, said at the National Children’s and Adult’s Services Conference: ‘ Frontline, a new route into social work for top graduates, has already seen unprecedented levels of interest. In its first year it received 25 applications for every place, propelling it into the top 100 career choices for graduates: the highest new entry in The Times Top 100 list. There have already been 1,000 applicants for the second round of Frontline and we’re anticipating this level of interest to continue, so I’m delighted to say that the government is supporting another year of Frontline.’
Sundog Pictures made this short video for Frontline. Released to mark World Social Workers Day, the film focuses on the lasting legacy of social workers on young people’s lives.
