The adventurous spirit runs strong in my family, because adventures have always been such a big part of my life. I can confidently say they have helped shape me into the person I am today.
I am always looking for the next big adventure. New experiences to learn more about the world around me and myself. Whether it’s an Arctic expedition to raise awareness for climate change or travelling from London to the summit of the Matterhorn under human power or even setting up my production company Sundog Pictures. I always come out the end a slightly fuller and more refined person… And the next and so far biggest adventure of my life, will be flying into space on Virgin Galactic’s maiden voyage.
Going to space takes collaboration on all fronts. If we can pioneer commercial space travel through collaborating, then that is something that is really exciting for the future of the world and our collective human adventurous spirit.
I was delighted to be involved in our film announcing the partnership of Virgin Galactic and Grey Goose.
I know that all great pioneers need dedicated people to bring that dream to life. You can’t do it alone, you need people with an equal trailblazing spirit – people who see things different to the rest and believe in the vision.
On all of my adventures, I knew that you it would only succeed if I had the right team and inspired them to believe in what I was trying to create.
During my recent Virgin Strive Challenge, we managed to reach our goal only because we worked together as a team. Each revelled in the madness of what we were doing, pushed each other when needed and made sure to keep the enthusiasm up when others were flagging.
That is is what unique partnerships are about – to work together and collectively lift each other to a higher place of existence.
