As part of BBC Three’s Race season, Reggie Yates travels to Ferguson, Missouri a year on from the shooting of an unarmed teenager, Michael Brown, by a white police officer. Reggie examines the position of African-Americans in US society and seeks to find out from the citizens of Ferguson whether the community can ever be healed. He looks at the new police recruits being trained but goes on to discover how African-Americans are still being discriminated against. Are tensions between the police and the black community of Ferguson any better than they were a year ago? Is the system working against them, and who is really to blame?
